Smart phones

Did you know that:
  • You can use your smart phone as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot as long as it has an operable data line (enabled data service).
  • It has numerous applications (apps) that are put in various categories, example apps are office, cad, communication, dictionaries, math, plotting, religious books plus much more.
  • the smart phones have 3 memory types, phone, internal SD and external SD (2 GB, 4, 8,..). You can check the available memory on the different cards using the following steps: Go into Settings, then move to (click or choose) SD card & phone storage.
  • You can add short cuts to your favourite apps. You can as well manage the installed/running apps by going to Settings, then choosing Applications and from there click Manage applications.
  • To convert your phone (temporarily) into a usb storage device to be connected to your computer through a suitable usb cable so that files can be exchanged (transferred) between the phone and the computer, you may follow the following steps: touch the settings button o you phone, choose wireless & networks, then choose wireless & networks, then choose tethering & hotspots and finally choose usb tethering.
